In the fourth game of his ninth NFL season, Julio Jones reached 11,000 career receiving yards. That is the fewest amount of games it has taken a receiver to reach that milestone in the history of the NFL, and by quite some margin.

Jones achieved that feat in his 115th career game, 12 games fewer than former Detroit Lions star Calvin Johnson. The historical pace Jones is setting appears to have quickened in the past year. In November of 2018, Jones became the fastest receiver to reach 10,000 career yards, but he did it in only 11 fewer games than Johnson.

Earlier this season, Jones became the Falcons' all-time leading receiver while scoring on a 54-yard touchdown pass from Matt Ryan that ultimately won the game for Atlanta against Philadelphia.

Entering the Week 4 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, Jones had caught 19 passes for 265 yards and was tied for the league lead with four touchdown catches.
