The Atlanta Falcons have officially activated punter Matt Bosher from injured reserve and added him to their active roster, the team announced Monday. In addition to adding Bosher to the 53-man roster, the Falcons have designated rookie guard Chris Lindstrom to return from injured reserve, and the first-round pick was out on the practice field with the team Monday. Atlanta has also signed offensive tackle John Wetzel.

Bosher, 32, was placed on injured reserve prior to the Falcons' Week 5 matchup with the Texans due to a groin injury. Atlanta designated Bosher as one of its two players to return from IR this season, and it appears the veteran punter is ready to go. A sixth-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, Bosher has averaged 45.7 yards per punt during his nine seasons with the Falcons.

Lindstrom, 22, was selected by the Falcons with the No. 14 pick in this year's NFL Draft. He was named the team's starting right guard for the season opener against the Minnesota Vikings, during which he suffered a foot injury that landed him on injured reserve. With his return to practice, the NFL's 21-day window for the Falcons to activate Lindstrom and add him to their 53-man roster has begun. If Lindstrom is not activated during that window, he will not be eligible to return this season.
