Is there a deadline to register for the Jr. Cheerleaders program? The registration deadline is Friday, August 24, 2018.
What is the participation fee and what does it cover? The participation fee for the program is $225 per child. The fee covers the following items (you will be able to keep all items):
- One (1) game ticket for the Junior Cheerleader to attend the performance at the Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers game on December 2, 2018 at the Mercedes- Benz Stadium. (Additional tickets for friends and family will have to be purchased separately. Tickets are limited.)
- Official Atlanta Falcons Jr Cheerleader game uniform
- Pom-Poms
- One (1) T-shirt
- Rehearsals taught by the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders
- Video Instruction of the routine
- Music link of performance music
- Tailgate party the day of the performance (participants only)
- Positive messages about self-esteem and physical fitness awareness
Who will be leading the rehearsals? Instruction is provided by the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders along with experienced dance and cheerleading instructors.
What if my daughter has to miss a rehearsal? All of the clinics are mandatory but if your daughter cannot attend, due to illness or an emergency, please be sure to practice the routine at home and notify the coordinator to receive any information that you may have missed.
Will my child meet the Atlanta Falcons players? No, however, your child will meet and interact with the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders.
Do parents/guardians need to attend all meetings and practices? Yes, pertinent information about the 2018 Atlanta Falcons Junior Cheerleader program will be shared at each practice and meetings.
If my daughter participated last year, will she need to purchase a new uniform? Yes. Each year the cheerleaders receive a new and different uniform from previous years.
Can I get a refund if my daughter is unable to participate? There is a strict no refund policy. You will receive all of your items if you decide not to participate, but the registration fee is non-refundable.
Will parents/guardians be provided tickets to the December 2nd game? No. Friends and family of the AFJC participants must purchase a ticket to the game. Tickets are very limited. It is recommended to purchase tickets ASAP to ensure you are able to attend the game.
Will I need to provide transportation to and from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium when my child performs? Yes, on December 2nd there will be a designated drop-off and pickup location.
