Marty Lauzon
Director of Sports Medicine and Performance

Biography

Marty Lauzon enters his eighth season with the Falcons and his fifth season as director of sports medicine and performance. He spent the previous four seasons as the Falcons head athletic trainer and brings 22 years of experience in athletic training to the team. Lauzon will be responsible for handling all aspects of the club’s athletic training department. In 2009, he spent a year as the director of sports rehabilitation for NovaCare-NE Ohio. Lauzon spent 10 seasons with the Cleveland Browns, serving from 2005-08 as the team’s Head Athletic Trainer. Lauzon is a certified athletic trainer and is a graduate of the University of Ottawa Physical Therapy School. He also holds the distinction of being a certified specialist in sports physical therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association. In 1992, Lauzon began his career as an intern with the Montreal Machine of the WLAF before moving on to Ottawa of the CFL.
