Biography

Danny Long embarks on his eighth year as an assistant athletic trainer for the Falcons. Long provides support for Director of Sports Medicine and Performance, Marty Lauzon and assists in the daily care of players, treatment, and rehabilitation. Long was a member of the Cleveland Browns staff from 2005-09. Long started as a summer intern in ’05 before being hired full-time as an assistant. Along with the daily care for players, he assisted in rehabilitation, treatment, and the hiring of training camp interns. Before joining the Browns staff, Long attended the Master’s program at Auburn University (2003-05) and served as a graduate assistant. From 2001-02, Long was summer intern for the Falcons training staff before making his first stop in Cleveland. He attended the University of South Carolina as an undergraduate and earned his degree in Science Physical Education with a minor in Athletic Training.
