Started his first career game at center in place of injured-veteran ToddMcClure against Chicago (9/11). Member of an offensive line that assisted in producing 138 rushing yards vs. Philadelphia (9/18). Saw action on special teams at Tampa Bay (9/25). A talented blocker who was a leader on the offensive line throughout his collegiate career. Won the Rebel Spirit Award, given to the senior who showed the most toughness, positive attitude and strong commitment to his teammates. Did not give up a sack at his position all season.

Attended Esperanza High School in Anaheim, California and was a three-year letterwinner for the Aztecs.
