Signed by the Falcons as a college free agent on July 26, 2011. Signed to the Falcons active roster on September 8, 2012.

2013 (Falcons)

Played in all 16 games with three starts while setting career highs with 12 receptions, 216 yards, and two touchdowns. Also served as a core special teamer helping the Falcons field one of the League’s top coverage units. Had a career-day at Arizona (10/27), posting career highs with five catches and 77 yards. Also caught his first touchdown of the season on a four-yard pass from QB Matt Ryan in the fourth quarter. Made his first career start against the Panthers and caught one pass from QB Matt Ryan at Carolina (11/3). Caught a 36-yard touchdown pass at Green Bay (12/8). His second touchdown catch of the season and the third of his career. Caught three passes from QB Matt Ryan for a total of 70 yards, averaging 23.3 yards per reception at San Francisco. Had a career-long 59-yard catch to set the Falcons up for a touchdown in the second quarter.

Has appeared in 32 career games with 16 receptions for 216 yards and three touchdowns while also playing a key role on special teams. Served as a member of the Falcons practice squad in 2011. Played in all 16 games as a reserve wide out and on special teams. Caught four passes for 40 yards (10 yards per reception) with one touchdown in 2012. Caught his first career touchdown at Philadelphia (10/28), pulling in a 15-yard pass from QB Matt Ryan in the back of the endzone.

College

Earned honorable mention All-Pac-10 honors and was a co-recipient of the Todd Doxey Award, given to the Oregon player who exemplifies the traits of dedication associated with being an outstanding teammate as a senior. The Denver, CO native caught 42 passes for 470 yards and three touchdowns in 2010 and helped lead the Ducks to the BCS National Championship Game. In four seasons with the Ducks, Davis appeared in 46 games and caught 73 passes for 823 yards with six touchdowns.

Personal

The SuperPrep All-American ranked among the top 20 prep receivers in the country as well as among the top 15 players in the Midlands section by the recruiting service. His outstanding character epitomized by him receiving the 16th annual Watkins Memorial Award as the nation’s top African American male high school scholar athlete.
