2015 (FALCONS)

Played in all 16 games, including 12 starts. Posted 27 tackles (17 solo) with one sack and one pass defense. Helped anchor a rush defense that allowed 105 yards per game.

Saw action at defensive tackle in Atlanta’s season opening win against Philadelphia (9/14). Notched one quarterback hit and helped the Falcons defense hold the Eagles to 63 yards on the ground.

Saw action at defensive tackle in Atlanta’s come-from-behind win at New York (9/20). Helped the Falcons defense hold the Giants to 97 yards on the ground, the second consecutive game the Birds held their opponent to under 100 yards rushing.

Started at defensive tackle in Atlanta’s come-from-behind win at Dallas (9/27). Helped the defense hold the Cowboys to minus four rushing yards in the second half.

As a reserve defensive lineman made three total tackles (one solo) at Carolina (11/16/14). Blocked K Graham Gano’s 63-yard field goal attempt as time expired to seal the win for Atlanta.

Had one of the best games of his young career when he recorded his first career sack, three total tackles (two solo), a hit on the quarterback and a tackle for a loss at New Orleans (12/21).

COLLEGE

Appeared in 46 games at Minnesota, including starts in his final 26 contests. Finished his career with 91 tackles (57 solo), with 10 sacks for minus 76 yards, 24 tackles for loss totaling 114 yards, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and two blocked kicks.

In 2013, was named a third-team All-American by Athlon Sports and was a consensus All-Big Ten first-team choice after recording 38 tackles (26 solo), with two sacks, and a career-high 13 tackles for loss.

In 2012, earned All-Big Ten honorable mention honors during his first season as a starter. Recorded 35 tackles (20 solo), and finished second on the team with six sacks. Also added 7.5 tackles for loss totaling 46 yards, two passes defended, and one forced fumble.

Appeared in all 12 games as a sophomore in 2011, producing 13 tackles (10 solo) with two sacks, 3.5 tackles for loss, and one forced fumble.

As a freshman in 2010, he appeared in eight games as a reserve defensive lineman.

PERSONAL

Attended Washburn (Minneapolis, Minn.) High School, where he helped the team compile an 8-2 mark and a 5-1 conference record as a senior.
