2013 (Falcons)

Played in 16 games with 12 starts in 2013. Posted a team-high 137 total tackles (92 solo) after notching 21 total tackles in the first seven games. According to Stats LLC., his back-to-back 19-tackle performances were tied for the best single-game total by any Falcon defender since 1994. Became the first undrafted rookie to lead the team in tackles in 2013. Was the third rookie to lead the team in tackles joining Tommy Nobis (1966), Buddy Curry (1980), Rick Bryan (1984). Had a breakout game at Carolina in Week 9. The rookie tallied a career-high 19 total tackles (11 solo) to lead the team. He followed that game with another 19 tackle performance (10 solo) against Seattle in Week 10, and strung together a streak of six straight games with 10-or-more tackles from Week 9 to Week 14. Joined Falcons Ring of Honor member Jessie Tuggle as the only players in franchise history to record 15-or-more tackles twice in one season (since 1994). Was a four-year starter at linebacker for the University of Delaware. Led the Blue Hens with 107 total tackles (57 solo) in 2012 while adding nine tackles for loss and three sacks.

Personal

Played linebacker, running back, and offensive guard at Concord High School in Wilmington, DE. Was named state Defensive Player of the Year as a senior and led Concord to the 2006 state Division II title and a berth in the state semifinals in 2005 and 2007. Was a nominee for the Allstate AFCA Good Works team for outstanding community service. Majored in history education.
