Started at fullback at Indianapolis (11/6) and helped pave the way for a rushing attack that gained 163 yards on the ground. Recorded two receptions for eight yards vs. New Orleans (11/13). Saw time on offense vs. Tennessee (11/20). Saw time on offense vs. Minnesota (11/27). Saw time on offense at Houston (12/4). Started at fullback at Carolina (12/11). CAREER
A solid blocker who is also a sure-handed receiver, Cox has played in 39 games (17 starts), notching four carries for three yards with a touchdown and 22 catches for 125 yards (5.7 avg.), in addition to a catch on a two-point conversion. Also recorded three special teams tackles and has five kickoff returns for 20 yards (4.0 avg.).
COLLEGE
Saw action in 47 games, with 33 starts, at Georgia Tech, registering 10 carries for 63 yards. Also caught 30 passes for 217 yards with a touchdown and added five special teams tackles. Served as the lead blocker in a Yellow Jackets rushing attack that paced the ACC at 199.3 yards per game. Was named the ACC’s best blocking back by The Sporting News.
PERSONAL
Three-year letterwinner rushed for 1,326 yards with 18 touchdowns and caught 20 passes for 415 yards at Red Land High School in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. Also was a starter at linebacker, recording 125 tackles and three interceptions. Majored in Management at Georgia Tech. Married to wife, Dana. Brother, Lucas, attended training camp with the Falcons in 2011.
