Played in 15 games as a rookie and posted five catches for 29 yards with one touchdown. Scored his first career touchdown on a five-yard pass from QB Matt Ryan against Tampa Bay (11/7).
COLLEGE
In his career at Clemson, totaled 73 receptions for 825 yards and eight touchdowns…His 73 receptions are the second-most for a tight end in school history. Last season, set collegiate highs and the school record for a tight end with 43 receptions for 507 yards and four scores. Was the first Clemson tight end to earn All-ACC honors since 1986 and was also voted a first-team All-ACC selection by Sporting News Magazine. Recorded a stretch of at least one reception in each of his last 11 games at Clemson, which is the longest consecutive streak for a tight end in school history.
PERSONAL
A native of Stone Mountain, Georgia. Attended Parkview High School and was named a AAAAA All-State selection by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Totaled 21 catches for 385 yards and five touchdowns as a senior. Following his senior season, was ranked as the top tight end in Gwinnett County. Was also a three-year starter on the basketball team.
