Started 15 games at different positions on defense and tallied 80 tackles (55 solo), and he lead the team in sacks with 4.5. Had one of his best games of the season where he recorded 1.5 sacks, his first of the season, a pass deflection and five total tackles (four solo) at Tampa Bay (11/9). Recorded his second-and-a-half sack of the season (leads team). Also recorded five total tackles (four solo), two hits on the quarterback and one tackle-for-loss vs. Cleveland (11/23). Recorded his third and half sack of the year,20th of his career, along with four total tackles (two solo), one tackle for a loss and one hit on the quarterback at Green Bay (12/8).

Was awarded the Atlanta Falcons Community All-Star, sponsored by AllState, for the month of December 2010. Recognized at the inaugural Community Honors dinner presented by AllState at the 191 club in downtown Atlanta. Participated in a number of Falcons Community Relations initiatives throughout the 2010 year, including the Alzheimer Association Georgia chapter’s Dancing with the Stars event, the Falcons second annual Dazzle & Dine event to benefit breast cancer survivors at Wildfire Grill in Atlanta, autograph signings, school visits and serving a Thanksgiving meal to Atlanta’s less fortunate at Crossroads Community Ministry. In December 2010, the Falcons defensive line treated children from the Atlanta Urban Ministries to a holiday shopping spree at a WalMart in Atlanta. The players ate dinner and shopped with the children.

College

Played in 52 career games while collaring 220 tackles, 32 sacks (second-most in school history), 45 tackles for loss, nine forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries at Montana. Was named the 2007 Big Sky Conference Defensive MVP and collected 70 tackles 15 sacks, 18 tackles for loss and five forced fumbles during his senior campaign. Became Montana’s first-ever recipient of the Buck Buchanan Award in 2007, given annually by the Sports Network to the top defensive player in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision. Competed in the 2008 Hula Bowl.

Personal

Married to Kim Biermann (Zolciak), has two daughters Brielle and Ariana, and two sons Kroy Jagger Biermann, Jr. and Kash Kade Biermann. The couple had twins in 2013, a baby girl and baby boy, Kaia Rose and Kane Ren Biermann. Earned eight letters at Hardin High School (Montana), three in football and wrestling and two in track. Was a first team all-state pick and team captain as a junior and senior at linebacker. Was a first-team all-conference selection at running back in 2002 and 2003. Participated in Montana’s Annual East-West Shrine Game.
