2013 (FALCONS)

Had a breakout season in 2013, catching 85 passes for 1,067 yards with two touchdowns. Posted three 100-yard games and eclipsed the 1,000-yard barrier for the first time in 2013. Broke the 1,000-yard barrier for the first time in his career after catching five passes for 46 yards at San Francisco in Week 16. Set a career-high with 149 yards vs. Tampa Bay (10/20). The 149-yard outburst was the highest single-game total by any Falcon receiver against the Buccaneers, topping 147-yard games by both WR Julio Jones and WR Andre Rison. Followed up his stellar game against the Bucs by catching a career-high 12 passes for 121 yards at Arizona (10/27). Enjoyed three of the best games of his career in 2013, including back-to-back 100-yard games in Weeks 7 & 8. Recorded two 100-yard games against division rival Tampa Bay. Caught six passes for 134 yards (22.3 yards per reception), including a career-long 80-yard touchdown in the two clubs Week 11 meeting.

In five seasons, has played in 79 games with 20 starts and compiled 207 receptions for 2,574 yards (12.4 yards per catch) with six touchdowns. Has also added 17 rushes for 71 yards (4.2 avg.) with one touchdown. Played in 15 games with one start in 2012. Caught 38 passes for 396 yards (10.4 yards per reception) with one touchdown as the club’s primary slot receiver. Also added two rushes for four yards. Also returned five punts for 42 yards with an average of 8.4 yards per return and a long return of 11 yards in 2012. In 2011, played in 16 games with four starts and caught a career high 39 passes for 498 yards (12.8 yards per catch) with one touchdown. Played in 16 games with four starts in 2010 and hauled in 22 passes for 294 yards (13.4 yards per catch) with one touchdown. Missed the entire 2009 season with a knee injury. Contributed heavily in his rookie campaign, participating in every contest and took over punt return duties halfway through the season. Finished the year with 23 catches for 320 yards and one touchdown while adding 12 carries for 69 yards and one score. Also added 19 punt returns for 226 yards with one touchdown and an 11.9 yards per return average. Posted a 61-yard punt return for a touchdown against Carolina (11/23/08), the Falcons first punt return for a score since 2004. Was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week (12) following his performance against the Carolina Panthers in 2008.

EXTRA POINTS

Hosts an annual bowling fundraising event for the March of Dimes – Georgia Chapter at Ten Pin Bowling Alley in Atlanta. The event has helped raise several thousand dollars for the March of Dimes to help save newborn babies. The Douglas Brothers Foundation, a charitable foundation run by Harry and his brother Toney, hosted its second annual Holiday Treat Festival in their hometown of Jonesboro, GA in December 2010. This event helped treat several underprivileged children during the holidays to free gifts, haircuts, health screenings and meals. Last year’s event was attended by over 3,000 people. Several of Douglas’ teammates joined him at the event.

COLLEGE

Graduated ranking second in school history with 2,924 receiving yards while his 173 receptions ranked fifth on the school’s all-time record list. Douglas’ 173 catches were also tied with Reggie Wayne for the sixth highest amount in Big East history. Totaled 15 career touchdowns, which placed him seventh in Louisville annals. Became the first player in school history to gain over 200 yards receiving twice in a career, totaling 205 yards against Syracuse and 223 yards against Kentucky, which set the school’s game-record and tied a conference record.

PERSONAL

Attended Jonesboro High School (Georgia) and was a first-team all-county and honorable mention all-state selection as a senior. Was one of only three players to receive all nine sports writers’ votes for first-team all-region accolades in 2002. Caught 40 passes for 831 yards and seven touchdowns during his final campaign. Was an all-region selection by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in basketball as he averaged 20.5 points per game. Born on September 16, 1984. Brother, Toney, plays professional basketball for the Miami Heat.
