Originally signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Detroit Lions on May 8, 2009. Released by the Lions in July of ‘09 and was signed by Minnesota on August 5. Was released by the Vikings following training camp and was signed to Houston’s practice squad on Sept. 24. Was signed to the Atlanta practice squad on October 21, 2009. Signed a two-year contract extension with the Falcons on March 4, 2013.

2013 (Falcons)

Played in 15 games seeing action at running back and on special teams. Logged a career high 145 rushing yards on five carries with a pair of touchdown runs. Led the team with 11 special teams tackles (10 solo) while helping the Falcons coverage units rank among the League leaders allowing 7.6 yards per punt return. Carried the ball twice for 88 yards at Tampa Bay (11/17), breaking loose for a career-long 50-yard touchdown on his first carry. Followed that up with a 38-yard scamper to average 44 yards per touch. Scored his second rushing touchdown of the season, breaking free for a 38-yard score at Buffalo (12/1). Totaled 145 yards on five carries and averaged 29.0 yards per carry in 2013.

Totaled 2,065 rushing yards and 23 touchdowns throughout his career at Florida State and was named a 2008 honorable mention All-ACC pick.

Personal

Attended Pahokee High School and led his team to the state championship as a senior. Was a Parade All-America selection and the Old Spice National Player of the Year.
