Biography

Shepley Heard enters his seventh season with the Falcons player personnel department and his fourth year as an Area Scout, responsible for scouting in the Southwest part of the country (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri and parts of Louisiana). Prior to his move West, Shepley served as a Scouting Assistant in the pro personnel department in 2005 before being promoted to a Pro Scout in the spring of 2006. As a Pro Scout, his duties included advance scouting future opponents, watching and grading free agent players as well as scouting the AFL and CFL. Heard played safety and special teams at the University of Central Oklahoma from 1997 to 2001. He currently resides in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
