WR Mohamed Sanu is attacking this offseason with an intense mindset, and he showed it with this workout video

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Falcons receiver Mohamed Sanu is a man on a mission this offseason.

While Sanu caught a career-best 59 passes for 653 yards and four touchdowns in his first season with the Falcons, he appears to be hardly satisfied.

Want proof? Just check out his Twitter timeline. The 27-year-old has been one of the Falcons’ most vocal players on social media over the past couple of months when talking about his mindset for the upcoming season.

Take a look at some of these tweets:

And how about this not-so-subtle warning Sanu issued:

And then there’s this video Sanu posted of himself working out on Sunday which shows the type of work he’s putting in ahead of training camp.

With a year of familiarity under his belt, Sanu said the next step for him is developing a leadership role.

And what’s one way to lead? By example.

Now having played a full season with Pro Bowl wideout Julio Jones, Sanu believes he and Jones are the best receiver duo in the game -- one of the main reasons why the Falcons’ offense could be poised for another big season.

According to Pro Football Focus, Sanu only had three drops on 109 catchable passes over the last two season – that’s a miniscule 2.8 drop rate – proving he has some of the best hands in the league.

“We complement each other very well,” Sanu said of Jones during his ESPN tour. “I know Julio’s strengths and weaknesses and he knows mine. We feed off each other very well, and we help each other improve daily. Our bond is very strong. We know what we need to get better and how to progress, and that’s what we are trying to do.”

Jones and Sanu combined for 2,062 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns for Falcons in the 2016 regular season.
