Cardinals vs. Falcons: Five players out for preseason home opener

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – When the Falcons take the field for the first time at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for Atlanta's preseason home opener on Saturday night, several players will be sidelined with injuries.

Running back Devonta Freeman, defensive end Martin Ifedi, tackle Austin Pasztor and cornerbacks Damontae Kazee and Blidi Wreh-Wilson will not see any action against the Cardinals. A 7 p.m. ET kickoff is scheduled.

Falcons coach Dan Quinn has yet to make a decision on whether wide receivers Julio Jones and Taylor Gabriel will play. Jones and Gabriel have yet to see any game action in the preseason.
