Falcons Waive TE Szczerba, P Yoklic

The Falcons have announced that the team has parted ways with tight end Andrew Szczerba and punter Matt Yoklic

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have waived tight end Andrew Szczerba and punter Matt Yoklic.
 
Szczerba, 6-6, 256 pounds, was originally signed by the Cowboys as a college free agent following the 2012 NFL Draft. He was signed to the Falcons practice squad on November 13, 2012. Szczerba spent the 2013 season on injured reserve.
 
Yoklic, 6-4, 220 pounds, was signed by the Falcons as a college free agent on May 12, 2014. He averaged a career-high 43.0 yards per punt to rank third in the ACC as a senior at Pittsburgh in 2013.
