Coming into the final two games of the season, the Falcons had two chances to earn the NFC South title and the No. 1 seed in the conference heading into the playoffs. Now, they’re down to one chance. Win against Carolina and the Falcons are tops in the conference. Lose and things get complicated. For the Panthers, Sunday is a chance to earn a marquee win over one of the NFL’s best teams. There’s no chance Carolina will roll over Atlanta, but the Panthers are hoping there’s a good chance they can play the role of spoiler.
