The Atlanta Falcons are pleased to continue their partnership with UnitedHealthcare of Georgia as the title sponsor of the 2014 Atlanta Falcons Rookie Club. In its sixth year, the Atlanta Falcons Rookie club will coordinate several of its community appearances with UnitedHealthcare of Georgia.

Shepherd Center Visit - November 11, 2014
The Atlanta Falcons Rookie Club visited the Shepherd Center, Atlanta’s spinal cord and brain injury rehabilitation hospital, on Veteran's Day, bringing with them plenty of smiles and a positive attitude to the surprised patients, as well as to the veterans in the SHARE Military Initiative program.
While each of the players in attendance were touched by the visit and the patients they met, the afternoon provided some rookies a perspective they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Hometown Huddle: Kipp Ways Academy - October 14, 2014
Each year, the NFL designates a specific Tuesday in October for all 32 teams across the league to send their players into the community. The Falcons are the only team to send every player on the roster out on this particular day. This year, the 2014 Rookie Club headed to Kipp Ways Academy to put on Gym Class for a group of exceptional and high performing students.
Heads Up Football Clinic - September 8, 2014
The Atlanta Falcons have started a new Youth Football initiative by hosting Heads Up Football clinics throughout the state of Georgia to educate children and parents on proper football techniques with the ultimate goal of making the game safer for children. The 2014 Rookie Club kicked off their regular season appearances by helping to host a Heads Up Football clinic in Suwanee, GA!
Fishing with the Falcons - June 11, 2014
On Wednesday, May 22nd, the Atlanta Falcons Rookie Club set sail for the seventh annual Fishing with the Falcons on Lake Lanier in Buford, Georgia. The rookies took time to cast a line and pay tribute to wounded military veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan. Coaches and veteran players joined the rookies for this fun day on the lake. Players competed in a fishing contest with their boats and were awarded prizes at the end of the evening. The rookies had a great time with the military veterans and are looking forward to resuming their Rookie Club visits after training camp.
UnitedHealthcare Children's Foundation Bowling Event – June 2, 2014
UnitedHealthcare hosted a bowling tournament at Bowlmor Atlanta for its Children’s Foundation on June 2nd, 2014. The Rookies had a great time bowling with each lane and meeting the Miracle Child of the night. In support of the rookies, several veteran players attended as well including Matt Bosher, Jordan Mabin, Levine Toilolo, and Harry Douglas. The players enjoyed bowling, signing autographs and a little friendly competition.
6th Annual Rookie Club Dinner – May 21, 2014
The 2014 Atlanta Falcons Rookie Club, presented by UnitedHealthcare, kicked off their 6th annual Rookie Club Dinner at Ventanna’s on May 21st, 2014. The Rookies enjoyed one of their first visits into downtown since arriving in Atlanta, and took in the views of the city skyline as well as their future home- the Georgia Dome. Chris Millman, community relations and youth programs manager, set the tone for the guys by explaining the importance of The Rookie Club and the emphasis the Atlanta Falcons puts on community outreach. Several guests and clients attended on behalf of UnitedHealthcare, and the Falcons presented UnitedHealthcare with a commemorative helmet signed by the 2014 Rookie Club. In support of the 2014 rookie class, former Rookie Club members Joe Hawley, Jonathan Massaquoi, and Malliciah Goodman attended to motivate the new rookies and let them know how Rookie Club made their first season as an NFL player even more rewarding.
