Taylor Morton

Taylor Morton embarks his 10th year with the Falcons player personnel department and will be responsible for scouting the Southeast for the club. Prior to becoming a college scout, Morton served in pro personnel as an advance scout for the Falcons opponents, as well as evaluating future free agent prospects for the team, scouting other professional leagues, including the NFL, NFL Europe and the CFL. Taylor joined the Falcons after coaching eight years in the college ranks. His stints included Auburn University (1995–1996), Mississippi JC, Hinds CC and Pearl River CC. He began his coaching career at Southern Miss after a career ending knee injury, earning both a Masters and a B.S. degree in Sports Administration. He and his wife, Carissa, have two sons, Thomas and Joshua. They reside in Dacula, Georgia.
