Ran Carthon

Ran Carthon begins his second season with the Falcons as a Pro Scout in charge of advance scouting for 15 teams. Carthon joins the scouting ranks following a three-year playing career in the NFL. Carthon broke into the NFL in 2004 as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Indianapolis Colts. His best campaign came in 2005 when he competed in six games for the Colts and rushed for his first career touchdown against Jacksonville. From 1999-2003, Carthon competed at the University of Florida. Carthon’s father, Maurice, currently serves as the Assistant Head Coach for the Kansas City Chiefs. Ran and his wife, Heaven Beiene-Carthon, have two daughters, Raven and Rhea.
