Bill Hughan

Bill Hughan enters his second season with the Atlanta Falcons as Assistant Director of Athletic Performance. Hughan works closely with Director of Athletic Performance Jeff Fish to ensure the strength and conditioning efforts for the team are met throughout the year.

From 2004-07, Hughan served as the Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Oakland Raiders under Falcons Director of Athletic Performance Jeff Fish. Hughan also worked with Fish at the University of Missouri from 2001-03 where he assisted in guiding over 500 Missouri student athletes.

Hughan began his coaching career at Yale University as an assistant from 1997-98. He then served as a Graduate Assistant at Columbia University for two years (1999-2000) and in-between the season during the summer, worked with the Omaha Royals, the AAA affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.

A native of Oxford, Conn., Hughan attended Springfield College in Massachusetts where he played hockey and earned an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science. He then went on to earn a graduate degree in Applied Physiology at Columbia University.
