His 8.5 sacks in 2007 were the 12th-highest total for a single-season in Georgia Tech annals.

Gave Tech its first safety since 2004 when he tackled Boston College quarterback Chris Crane in the endzone.

2007 Season
Started all 13 games at defensive tackle and finished with 45 tackles, 14.0 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

His three forced fumbles ranked tied for seventh in the ACC and tied for 55th nationally.

Ranked fifth in the ACC and tied for 34th nationally in sacks (8.5).

Produced six tackles, including four solo tackles, a sack for minus-12 yards and recovered a fumble at Virginia (9/22).

2006 Season
The top back-up at defensive tackle as a sophomore, had 17 tackles on the season.

Credited with one tackle for loss and one-half sack.

2005 Season
Developed into a key contributor on the defensive line as a true freshman.

Totaled 15 tackles, with three tackles for loss, one sack and a fumble recovery.

Personal
Third-team all-state selection, according to the Columbia State.

Named to the Charlotte Observer's All-Observer first-team and All-Upper South Carolina first-team.

All-region and all-area selection by the Rock Hill Herald.

Had 17.5 sacks and 41 TFLs as a senior at Fort Mill High.
