Selected as a third round (75th pick overall) draft choice by Atlanta in 2007.

CAREER

Robinson's 192 receptions broke the old school career-record of 177 by Rickey Garrett (1996-99) and is topped only by Eddie Berlin of Northern Iowa (249, 1997-2000), Mike Furrey of Northern Iowa (242, 1997-99) and Cornell Craig of Southern Illinois (207, 1996-99) on the Gateway Conference all-time record list.

His 3,007 yards surpassed Garrett's old school career-record of 2,719 yards (2,558 in Gateway play) and rank fifth in Gateway Conference annals.

Robinson shattered the school season-record with 86 receptions which also tied the Gateway Conference season-record.

His 1,465 yards rank tenth on the NCAA Division 1-AA's season-record chart.

His three touchdown receptions vs. Drake in 2005 rank third on the school's game-record list behind Garrett (four vs. Southern Utah and four vs. Kentucky State in 1998).

Laurent's 292 yards receiving vs. Indiana State in 2005 set school and conference game-records, topping the old ISU mark of 259 yards by Garrett.

Laurent had multiple-catch games in 29 contests and gained over 100 yards receiving in nine games, including two 200-yard performances.

2006 SEASON

A consensus All-American and All-Gateway Conference first-team preseason selection, Robinson started nine games, finishing second on the team with 40 receptions for 718 yards (18.0 avg) and seven touchdowns.

Was named Gateway Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his performance vs. Kansas State in the season opener.

31 of his catches resulted in first downs, as he converted 9-of-11 third-down plays he was involved in.

Registered fourteen catches for 20 yards or longer and had five receptions inside the red zone.

Twelve of his grabs were responsible for SIU touchdown drives.

2005 SEASON

A finalist for the Walter Payton Award, given to the top offensive player in the NCAA Division 1-AA ranks.

Added All-Gateway Conference first-team honors and was named the league's Offensive Player of the Year.

Started eleven games at split end, leading the Division 1-AA ranks in yards receiving per game (133.18) and ranking second nationally with an average of 7.82 catches per game.

Set school season-records with 86 receptions (tied the Gateway Conference record first set by Mike Furrey of Northern Iowa in 1998) for 1,465 yards (17.0 avg) and twelve touchdowns, topping the previous marks of 74 grabs for 1,175 yards by Rickey Garrett in 1998.

Was named Gateway Conference Player of the Week vs. Iowa State, Northern Iowa and Indiana State.

2004 SEASON

Robinson started all eleven games at split end, leading the team with 47 receptions for 564 yards (12.0 avg) and seven touchdowns.

30 of his 47 catches resulted in first downs, including converting 10-of-18 third-down plays.

Had seven grabs for 20 yards or longer and made six catches inside the red zone.

Added key receptions on eight touchdown drives and another that ended with an ISU field goal.

2003 SEASON

Laurent appeared in twelve games, starting six.

Tied the school freshman receiving record with three touchdowns on the season and ranked second on the squad with nineteen catches for 260 yards (13.7 avg).

Fourteen of his grabs resulted in first downs, as Laurent converted 9-of-10 third-down plays and had five catches for 20 yards or longer.

HIGH SCHOOL

Attended Rockledge (Fla.) High School, playing football for head coach Chuck Wood.

Led the team to consecutive state championships (squad posted back to back 14-1 records, 2001-02).

Earned All-State honorable mention, All-Space Coast first-team and All-Conference accolades as a senior, coming up with 55 receptions for 903 yards and eleven touchdowns as a senior.

Lettered four times each in football, basketball and track teams, earning starting jobs on the hard court and gridiron as a junior.
