Waived by Dallas on June 3, 2005 and claimed by San Francisco off of waivers.

Played in his first NFL game against St. Louis on September 17, seeing action in the 49ers goal line offense in the second quarter.

Saw action on special teams and on offense versus Oakland (10/8), reporting as an eligible receiver twice on fourth-down conversion attempts.

Signed from the San Francisco practice squad to the active roster (12/20) and was inactive for final two games of the season at St. Louis (12/24) and versus Houston (1/1/06).

Allocated to NFL Europe Rhein Fire where he played under the direction of 49ers defensive line coach Jim Tomsula who was the Fire’s Head Coach at the time. Also played alongside fellow 49ers offensive lineman Tony Wragge.


COLLEGE
Named to the Outland Trophy watch list in July of 2004 as one of the top 57 linemen, offense or defense, in the country prior to the start of the 2004 campaign at Nevada. Also named to the Lombardi watch list.

Served as a co-captain of the Wolf Pack his senior season. Named first-team All-WAC for the second consecutive season.

Named co-captain of the squad as a junior and helped Chance Kretschemer rush for 170 and 171 yards against Southern Utah and Tulsa, respectively.

Helped Kretschemer to five, 100-yard rushing games and stood strong in the trenches to allow just 17 sacks.

Named first-team All-WAC and picked up team’s Basalite Big Blocker Award as the top offensive lineman.

Started seven games at right tackle his sophomore year. Given the Basalite Big Blocker Award for grading out as the best blocker on the team in 2002.

Started his last four games of the season as a true freshman in 2001.
