 Waived by Dallas on June 3, 2005 and claimed by San Francisco off of waivers.

Signed to the 49ers practice squad on September 5, 2005 and was activated to the 53-man roster on December 20, 2005.

Allocated to the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe for the 2006 season.

Signed to the San Francisco practice squad following the 2007 training camp.

Signed by the Falcons off the San Francisco practice squad to the active roster on October 9, 2007.


2008 (Falcons)
Started all 16 games for the first time in his career and was part of an offensive line that assisted a Falcons rushing attack, which ranked second in the NFL.

Atlanta’s offensive line set a franchise record allowing a season-low 17 sacks and one sack for an average of 25.5 plays.

Made his first career NFL start vs. Detroit (9/7) for an offensive line that led the way for RB Michael Turner career and franchise single-game record 220 rushing yards.

Started at right guard for an offensive line that did not allow a sack on 30 pass attempts vs. Chicago (10/12).

Member of an offensive group that tied a franchise-high in rushing touchdowns (five) vs. Carolina (11/23).

Started at left guard versus St. Louis (12/28) and helped open holes for Atlanta’s 263 net rushing yards.


2007 (Falcons)
Started the season on the San Francisco 49ers practice squad.

Inactive for his first eight contests with the Falcons.

Competed in one game in the season finale against Seattle (12/30).


2006 (49ers)
Competed in four games, was inactive for nine contests and was active but did not play in three others.

Played in his first NFL game against St. Louis (9/17), seeing action in the 49ers goal line offense in the second quarter.

Saw action on special teams and on offense versus Oakland (10/8), reporting as an eligible receiver twice on fourth-down conversion attempts.


2005 (49ers)
Signed from the San Francisco practice squad to the active roster (12/20) and was inactive for final two games of the season at St. Louis (12/24) and versus Houston (1/1/06).

Allocated to NFL Europe Rhein Fire where he played under the direction of 49ers defensive line coach Jim Tomsula who was the Fire’s Head Coach at the time.

Named to the Outland Trophy watch list in July of 2004 as one of the top 57 linemen, offense or defense, in the country prior to the start of the 2004 campaign at Nevada. Also named to the Lombardi watch list.

Served as a co-captain of the Wolf Pack his senior season. Named first-team All-WAC for the second consecutive season.

Born Harvey Dahl (6/24/81) in Fallon, NV.

Was an all-state selection at Churchill County (Fallon, NV) High School. Also named all-league and All-Northern Nevada.

Dahl and his wife Laurie reside in Suwanee, Georgia with their dog Newman.
