2004 Falcons Caravan: Macon
June 11, 2004
Atlanta Falcons running back T.J. Duckett, wide receiver Woody Dantzler and fullback Justin Griffith, along with Brencia, Courtney, Kim and Sandra from the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders and Freddie Falcon, hit the road again to meet Falcons fans in Macon on Friday, June 11. They rolled into the Carl Thomas Boys & Girls Club, a beneficiary of the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation, where the players instructed the kids on football drills and the cheerleaders provide dance instruction.
While Duckett, Dantzler, Griffith, Kim and Courtney stopped off at the Boys and Girls club, Freddie Falcon, Brencia and Sandra made their way to Macon's Children's Hospital, paying a visit to its patients and staff.
After their respective trips, the group combined to meet at a fan festival at the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, where they signed autographs. At the event, all fans had the opportunity to tour the Falcons Mobile Museum, purchase Falcons memorabilia from the Mobile Store and play interactive football games and also had a chance to win prizes in the Delta Flying Feathers ticket tank.
The Falcons Caravan is presented by Delta Airlines, Ford Motor Company, The Home Depot, Coca-Cola, and MBNA. The remaining tour stops include: June 23, Chattanooga and June 25, Savannah.
