Program Information
The 2009 Atlanta Falcons Junior Cheerleader Program is designed for girls ages 5-16. There are no tryouts and all skill levels are accepted. The program fee has been reduced to $160. Participants will attend three rehearsals and perform during halftime of the November 8, 2009 Atlanta Falcons vs. Washington Redskins game at the Georgia Dome.

Is there a deadline to register for the Jr. Cheerleaders program?
The registration deadline is Friday, September 25, 2009.
What is the participation fee and what does it cover?
The participation fee for the program is $160 per child. The fee covers the following items (you will be able to keep all items):
- 1 Game performance during halftime of the November 8 Atlanta Falcons home game against the Washington Redskins and one ticket to attend the game
- Game uniform (dance pants and football style shirt)
- Pom-Poms
- 1 Practice t-shirt
- 3 Rehearsals taught by the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders
- 1 Instructional DVD
- 1 CD of music for game day performance
- 1 2009 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders autographed poster
- Tailgate party the day of the performance (participants only)
- Positive messages about self-esteem and physical fitness awareness
When are the rehearsals and at what game will the Jr. Cheerleaders perform?
The rehearsals will be held on Saturday, October 10, October 24 and November 7 from 9 am- 11am. Click here for more information. The Junior Cheerleaders will perform during halftime of the November 8 game against the Washington Redskins. Kickoff is at 1pm.
Will parents/guardians be provided tickets to the November 8 game?
Each participant will have the opportunity to purchase reduced priced tickets to the game when AFJC performs. Tickets are very limited.
Will I need to provide transportation to and from the Georgia Dome when my child performs?
Yes, on November 8 there will be a designated drop off and pick up location.
Who will be leading the rehearsals?
Instruction is provided by the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders.
Will my child meet the Atlanta Falcons players?
No, however, your child will meet and interact with the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders.
