Junior Cheer FAQ

How do I register?
Please log on to AtlantaFalcons.com and click on cheerleaders.  You will need to mail in the registration forms and fees or register on line.

Is there a deadline to register for the Jr. Cheerleaders program?
The registration deadline is July 12th  if slots are still available.

What does the program fee cover for the Jr. Cheerleaders?
The program fee covers the following items (you will be able to keep all items):

• Game Uniform
• 3 GAME PERFORMANCES at an Atlanta Falcons home game (halftime and pregame)
• Pom-Poms
• Game day Earrings
• Game day Hair Bow
• T-shirt
• Shorts
• 6 Instructional clinics taught by the Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders
• Group field trip
• 1 Instructional DVD
• 1 CD of music for game routines
• 2008 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader autographed poster
• Tailgate Party the day of each of the three performances (participants only)
• Backpack
• 2-piece warm up suit (jacket and pants)
• End of Year party
• 8X10 Group photo with your team and Falcons Cheerleaders
• Personal coaching from a member of the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders
• Self-esteem, educational and physical fitness awareness and incentives
• Performing fun and exciting routines with the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders in front of tens of thousands of Falcons fans
• Community Service activities
• End of the year DVD of all 3 performances

• Photo CD from a professional photographer including candid shots from games

Is there a payment plan for the program fee?
Yes, as long as the registration fee is paid by the deadline of July 12th, you can pay the remaining balance over the course of the 6 months of the program.

What are clinics?
Clinics are rehearsals.  Participants will learn performance routine taught by members of the 2008 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders squad.

What are the Holiday Camps?
The Holiday Camps are one day camps where participants will learn a fun routine and cheer from the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders and participate in arts and crafts activities for the holiday season.  This is a perfect opportunity for parents to take care of holiday needs while providing their child with a fun activity with the Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders. There will be four camps during the months of November and December.

What does the program fee cover for the Holiday Camp?
The program fee covers the following items (you will be able to keep all items):

• T-shirt
• Arts and Crafts projects
• Lunch
• Instruction

Will parents get tickets to the Atlanta Falcons Football Games?
Each participant will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to the game when AFJC performs.  Tickets are very limited. 

Will I need to provide transportation to and from the Georgia Dome when my daughter performs?
Yes, We will have a designated drop off and pick up location for the game day performances.

Who are the instructors?
Instruction is provided by the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders and experienced cheerleaders and dancers

Will my daughter meet the Atlanta Falcons Football Players?
No, however, your daughter will meet and interact with the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders.
