For the second year in a row, the Atlanta Falcons brought training camp and a day of entertainment in town for the team’s annual Midtown Touchdown festival.
The event drew more than 20,000 fans for interactive family games, autograph sessions with players, alumni and cheerleaders and live music entertainment at Piedmont Park. A training camp practice was held at nearby Grady Stadium – on a new playing field that’s been refurbished by the Falcons for the occasion. Fireworks capped off the day's festivities.
The team partnered with the City of Atlanta, the Piedmont Park Conservancy and Atlanta Public Schools to bring this exciting festival to the Atlanta community. The 2007 Midtown Touchdown was presented by Allstate Insurance Company. Other sponsors included AT&T, Russell Athletic, Miller Lite, and St. Joseph’s Hospital.
