Bergeron rejoins Falcons practice squad roster

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Atlanta Falcons today signed wide receiver Troy Bergeron to the practice squad.
 
Bergeron, 6-2, 195 pounds, was signed by the Falcons on May 10, 2009 and earned a spot on the practice squad following training camp. He was elevated to the 53-man roster for Atlanta’s contest against Carolina before being released by the team for a two-day period. Bergeron competed with the Georgia Force of the AFL for three seasons (2005, 2007-08) and recorded 328 receptions for 4,335 yards and 96 touchdowns. He earned AFL Rookie of the Year honors in 2005 and was an All-Arena team selection in 2007.
