FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Adam Goldstein has been a Falcons fan for as long as he can remember.
And, like most Falcons fans, one memory of the team stands out as his favorite.
"I remember the bar I was at and the place going nuts," said Goldstein, mentioning his location and feelings the moment the Falcons defeated the Minnesota Vikings in the 1998 NFC Championship Game. "It's almost like a frozen moment in time for me."
The victory secured the franchises' only trip to the Super Bowl and, thus, became the shining moment for any Falcons fan that traces roots back to team's historic 1998 season or before. Goldstein, however, may have a new favorite memory after this weekend's NFL Draft. He won a seat at the team's Sunday press conference through a raffle on MyFalconsSearch.com.
"I was really excited," he said when asked about the contest. "I did the SwagBuck thing and saw the winner was supposed to be announced on April 1. I figured someone else won it. When I did find out about it, I guess you could say 'elation' was the emotion. I'm a pretty die hard Falcon fan... I've always been the hometown sports fan."
Fans can earn "SwagBucks" by searching the web at MyFalconsSearch.com. The virtual currency can be exchanged for prizes or, in Goldstein's case, raffle tickets. His prize includes a front-row seat at the first press conference held by the Falcons day-one draft pick and a tour of the team's practice facility.
The Falcons hold the No. 24 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, which begins at 4 p.m. ET Saturday.
The Roswell resident and nine-year season ticket holder says he's excited about the future of the franchise.
