Team announces 'State of the Franchise' event

***COMING AT 6 PM ET: Live Video of the State of the Franchise Event***

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Falcons announced a special "State of the Franchise" event Thursday afternoon, inviting fans to the Georgia Dome on April 27 to hear news on the team straight from Owner and CEO Arthur Blank, President Rich McKay, General Manager Thomas Dimitroff and Head Coach Mike Smith.

The quartet of decision makers are expected to recap the team's moves in the 2009 NFL Draft, address the upcoming season and take fan questions. Season ticket holders can reserve seats and submit questions for event speakers when they RSVP. Fans are asked to RSVP for the event.

Date: Monday, April 27, 2009
Time: 6 to 8 p.m. (doors open at 5:30 p.m.)
Where: Georgia Dome
Parking: Free in the Orange parking lot (space is limited, so please arrive early)
