FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – The Atlanta Falcons today signed free agent center Brett Romberg.
Romberg, 6-2, 298 pounds, is a five-year veteran who previously spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars (2003-05) and St. Louis Rams (2006-08). He has seen action in 33 career games (18 starts) and competed in 14 contests with six starts in 2008. Romberg has also blocked for two 1,000-yard rushers, including Jaguars running back Fred Taylor (2004) and Rams running back Steven Jackson (2006, 2007 and 2008).
