FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Les Snead will head into his 11th season with the Atlanta Falcons personnel department with the new title of Director of Player Personnel. Snead will evaluate all available free agents as well as oversee both the college and pro scouting efforts for all professional leagues.
“Les continues to distinguish himself as an adept evaluator in our business,” said Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitroff. “His work ethic, critical evaluation, and detailed oriented approach to all aspects of personnel clearly set him apart. Les will oversee our Player Personnel department and work closely with Lionel Vital (Assistant Director of Pro Personnel) in determining our club’s direction in the areas of adding veteran players to our football team. Both Les and Lionel are extremely critical to the overall success of our organization, and I look forward to continuing to work very closely with both of them.”
