FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- For the ninth time this season rookie quarterback Matt Ryan is up for Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Week for his role in the Falcons victory over the Minnesota Vikings Sunday afternoon.
Ryan completed 13 of 24 passes for 134 yards and a touchdown in 24-17 that earned the Birds a spot in the NFC playoffs.
After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com/rookies throughout the month of January. The winner will be announced at a press conference at Super Bowl XLIII in Tampa Bay.
Fans can also vote for linebacker Keith Brooking, who is up for Home Depot Neighborhood MVP.

Brooking is up for Home Depot NFL Neighborhood MVP. A former Falcons Man of the Year, Brooking works in the community year round through The Keith Brooking Children's Foundation. The foundation has awarded more than $300,000 in grants since February 2004.
