FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- For the sixth time this season rookie quarterback Matt Ryan is up for an NFL weekly award. The signal-caller is nominated for Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Week after throwing for 248 yards and a pair of touchdowns against the Saints.
Ryan has a passer rating of more than 115.0 in every game he's started in the Georgia Dome. The Falcons are a perfect 4-0 at home.

Head Coach Mike Smith is also up for Motorola Coach of the Week.
Smith has the Falcons at 6-3 in his first season as a head coach. The team's offense gained a total of 361 yards last week against the Saints.
Running back Michael Turner rushed for 96 yards and one score. The Falcons recorded a sack and a forced fumble to go with three interceptions, including one from rookie cornerback Chevis Jackson who returned it 95-yards for a touchdown.
