FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- In an effort to enhance the game day experience for all fans, the Atlanta Falcons and the Georgia Dome today announced the club’s Fan Code of Conduct for the 2008 season.  Similar in nature to the NFL Fan Code of Conduct recently announced, the Falcons code applies to all season ticket holders, their guests and all fans attending home games at the Georgia Dome.

“We’re committed to providing the best possible game day experience,” said Atlanta Falcons President Rich McKay.  “It’s imperative that we create an environment that is safe and enjoyable for all Falcons fans.”

The Falcons Fan Code of Conduct will work in partnership with the expectations set by the NFL for fan conduct, and will address behavior that could potentially detract from the game day experience.  Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Dome officials will enforce the Fan Code of Conduct throughout the season, with violators subject to removal from the Georgia Dome or possible revocation of season ticket privileges.

“Every member of our game day staff is dedicated to providing each fan a safe and enjoyable environment to enjoy the game,” said Georgia Dome General Manager Carl Adkins. “We want the memories fans take away with them to be amazing ones that leave them looking forward to coming back to the Dome.”

Atlanta Falcons Fan Code of Conduct
The Atlanta Falcons and the Georgia Dome are committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for all fans, both in the Georgia Dome and on the surrounding property.  We want all fans attending our games to enjoy the experience in a responsible fashion.  When attending a game you are expected to refrain from the following behaviors:

  • Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature
  • Fighting
  • Intoxication or other signs of alcohol impairment that results in irresponsible behavior
  • Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures
  • Interference with the progress of the game (including throwing objects onto the field)
  • Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel
  • Verbal or physical harassment of opposing team fans

Event patrons are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and/or persons occupying their seats.

Stadium staff will promptly intervene to support an environment where event patrons, their guests, and other fans can enjoy the event free from the above behavior.

Event patrons and guests who violate these provisions will be subject to ejection without refund and potential loss of ticket privileges for future games.

The Atlanta Falcons and the Georgia Dome thank you, in advance, for adhering to our Fan Code of Conduct.
