FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Football players from more than 20 Georgia high school football programs are expected to take part in the 2008 Atlanta Falcons High School Player Development (H.S.P.D.) and 7-on-7 passing tournament. From June 5 to 7, West Hall High School will host this three-day character and skill development program for some of Georgia’s top high school student-athletes.
Top programs participating include North Gwinnett, North Cobb, Creekside and Flowery Branch high schools. Coach Shane Queen and his North Cobb Warriors walked away as winners of the 2007 Atlanta Falcons - on-7 tournament. Coach Queen moved on to coach the All-Tournament team that represented the Falcons and the state of Georgia at the national NFL 7-on-7 tournament hosted by the Houston Texans.
