FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Atlanta Falcons are opening the doors to the Georgia Dome Saturday, May 31, giving fans an opportunity to pick their season ticket seats for the 2008 season and for years to come. With season tickets available for as low as $250, the “Select-A-Seat” event allows fans to purchase tickets on the spot, and test drive their new Sunday home.
Atlanta Falcons cheerleaders and staff will be on hand to guide fans to the available seats, which will be identified by brightly colored tags. From noon to 2 p.m. fans are welcome to “Select-A-Seat” and get an early glimpse of the Georgia Dome enhancements for the 2008 season, including a new exterior painted in Falcons-themed colors, enhanced seating in the lower and upper levels and renovations to the concourse areas.
Falcons players will also be on hand for autographs, photos and to greet fans.
The Falcons enter a new era under the leadership of General Manager Thomas Dimitroff and Head Coach Mike Smith. The team’s home game schedule includes key contests against NFL South Division rivals, and other must-see mid season games against the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos.
The AFC South Champion Indianapolis Colts come to the Georgia Dome for a preseason match up on Saturday, August 16, marking a rematch of the 2007 Thanksgiving Game between these two teams. In other pre-season play, the Falcons take on Vince Young and the Tennessee Titans on Friday, August 22.
