FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. – Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitroff issued a statement Thursday regarding head coaching candidate Jason Garrett's decision to remain with the Dallas Cowboys.
"Jason Garrett informed us this morning that he has decided to remain in Dallas as offensive coordinator of the Cowboys," Dimitroff said. "Jason is an impressive individual, and a talented football coach. I can tell you that we had great conversations and discussions with him yesterday. He has a terrific future ahead of him in the National Football League, and we wish him all the best.
"Our focus today is no different than yesterday. We are continuing our process of finding the best head coach for the Atlanta Falcons, and will concentrate all of our efforts and energies towards that goal."
