ATLANTA -- The Falcons registered a slew of individual and team milestones in the 44-41 win over the playoff-bound Seahawks.
- Emmitt Thomas earned his first victory as interim head coach of the Atlanta Falcons following a 44-41 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
- Atlanta’s 44 points against the Seahawks are the most in a game since 1998 when the Falcons scored 51 points against Carolina on Oct. 4. The combined scored between Atlanta and Seattle was 85 points, marking the third-highest total between the Falcons and an opponent since Nov. 27, 1983 (Falcons 47-Green Bay 41). The highest combined point total in Falcons franchise history is 90, which was set on Dec. 18, 1966 (Pittsburgh 57-Falcons 33).
- Atlanta wide receiver Roddy White totaled 62 receiving yards against Seattle to give him a total of 1,202 for the year. White’s season total is the fifth highest amount of receiving yards in a season in franchise history and the most in a year since 1994 (Terance Mathis, 1,342). Last week, White became the Falcons first 1,000-yard receiver since 1999 when he tallied 141 receiving yards against the Arizona Cardinals. White finished his day against Seattle with five catches for 62 yards and one touchdown, which was his sixth of the season and ninth of his career. White also contributed with an onside kickoff recovery, which sealed the victory for the Falcons.

- Falcons quarterback Chris Redman posted another career day when he completed 17 of 27 passes for 251 yards and a career high four touchdowns. Redman became the first Falcons quarterback since Michael Vick to throw for four TDs in a game. Vick accomplished the feat twice last season against the Pittsburgh Steelers (Oct. 22, 2006) and Dallas Cowboys (Dec.16, 2006). Redman’s 10 touchdown passes this season are a career high for the five-year quarterback and the most since 2002 when he threw for seven touchdowns as a member of the Baltimore Ravens.
- Falcons defensive end John Abraham logged his ninth and 10th sacks of the season when he dropped Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck in the first and second quarters. Abraham has now posted 10 sacks on the season, which marks the fourth time in his career he has recorded a double-digit sack season. Abraham gives Atlanta its first double-digit sack year since 2005 when Rod Coleman finished with 10.5. Abraham also becomes the sixth Falcons player in franchise history to finish with a double-digit sack season.
- On Abraham’s second sack, he forced a fumble, which was recovered by the Falcons. The turnover led to the team’s second touchdown of the game. The sack/forced fumble combination is the 27th of Abraham’s career, which ranks fourth in the NFL from 2000-2007.

- With 10 receiving yards on the day, Atlanta running back Warrick Dunn topped 4,000 career receiving yards for his career. Dunn is the seventh player in NFL History to register 10,000 career rushing yards and 4,000 career receiving yards.

- Dunn tallied his fourth rushing touchdown of the season and the 47th of his career in the second quarter to give the Falcons a 14-10 advantage. Dunn finished the game with 70 rushing yards, which tied for his third highest total of the season.
- Dunn notched his longest run of the season and Atlanta’s third-longest rush of the year with a 38-yard scamper in the fourth quarter. The rush led to a Falcons field goal.
- Running back Jerious Norwood caught his second longest pass of the season with a 35-yard reception in the second quarter, which led to a Falcons touchdown. Norwood’s longest catch is a 46-yard grab against the New Orleans Saints in Week 14.
- Norwood returned his third kickoff of the game 46 yards to tie his second highest return of the season. Norwood’s longest kickoff return is a 76-yard scamper against Tennessee in Week 5. His first 46-yard return came against the Carolina Panthers in Week 3.
- Tight end Alge Crumpler caught his fourth and fifth touchdowns of the season, which includes his 34th and 35th of his career. The two-touchdown game marks his first multiple TD game of the season and the fourth of his career. His last multiple touchdown game came against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Oct. 22, 2006 when he caught six passes for 117 yards and three touchdowns. His first TD of the day came on a 55-yard pass from Redman to tie the score at 27-27 in the fourth quarter. The 55-yard catch is his third longest career reception and second longest touchdown catch of his career. Crumpler’s longest career reception is a 63 yard grab against the Carolina Panthers in Week 4 of the 2003 season. Crumpler’s second touchdown of the game came after a Falcons sack and forced fumble recovery.
- Wide receiver Joe Horn caught his first touchdown pass as an Atlanta Falcons on a four-yard strike from Redman at the 9:34 mark in the second quarter. The touchdown was Horn’s 58th of his career.
- Wide receiver Adam Jennings posted his longest career reception with a 28-yard catch in the second quarter fromRedman.
- Jennings registered his longest career kickoff return with a 61-yard scamper in the third quarter. The return led to a Falcons 37-yard field goal. Jennings’ previous career long kickoff return came in the season opener when he brought back a kickoff 31 yards against Minnesota.
- Horn posted his second longest reception of the season when he caught a 23-yard pass from Redman in the first quarter.
- Falcons defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux logged his third sack of the season and forced a fumble, which was recovered by defensive tackle Montavious Stanley. The turnover led to a Falcons touchdown and a seven-point advantage in the fourth quarter.
- Safety Chris Crocker intercepted his third pass of the season, a career-high, and the seventh of his career when he stepped in front of a Seneca Wallace pass at the 13:30 mark in the fourth quarter. The interception led to a White touchdown and a Falcons 41-27 lead in the final period of play.
- Linebacker Stephen Nicholas earned his first sack as a member of the Atlanta Falcons when he ran Wallace out of bounds for a loss in the third quarter.
- Falcons linebacker Keith Brooking started his 112th consecutive game while center Todd McClure recorded his 96th-straight start.
- Kicker Morten Andersen improved his consecutive games scoring streak to 360 games when he split the uprights on his first extra point attempt in the second quarter. The streak is the currently the longest in the League. Andersen finished the day with three field goals and five PATs for a total of 14 points. He also hit a 30-yard field goal with no time remaining in the second quarter to tie the game at 17 apiece heading into halftime. Andersen’s five PATs in a game are the most since Oct. 22, 2006 and his 14-point total tied his high for the season (vs. Houston Texans in Week 4).
- INJURY UPDATE: Abraham left the game early in the second quarter after suffering a blow to the head. He returned to the game after missing only one defensive series. Abraham left the game again early in the third quarter with a back injury and did not return to the game. He was replaced in the game by defensive end Chauncey Davis.
- INJURY UPDATE: Running back Jason Snelling suffered a hamstring injury with just over 9 minutes remaining in the second quarter. He did not return to the game.
- INJURY UPDATE: Linebacker Michael Boley left the game with 5:53 remaining in the second quarter with an ankle injury.
