ATLANTA -- Live news, notes and injury updates straight from the Georgia Dome press box.

  • The Falcons game against the Colts is only the second prime time Thanksgiving game ever played. The Chiefs hosted the Broncos last Thanksgiving. Like last year, the game is being televised nationally on the NFL Network.
  • Running back Warrick Dunn entered the game just 26 yards shy of 10,000 yards in his career. On the Falcons' first offensive series, Dunn carried the ball five times for 23 yards, leaving him just three yards short of the milestone.
  • Dunn reached the 10,000-yard mark with 14:26 remaining in the second quarter on a two-yard off-tackle run. Play was halted as the crowd recognized the accomplishment and the ball was removed from the game. Dunn finished the game with 70 yards on 17 carries and stands just 17 yards short of 600 on the season.
  • Dunn is now 234 yards shy of entering into the NFL’s top 20 career rushing yards list. Currently, Ottis Anderson holds the 20th spot with 10,273 yards followed by Eddie George (10,441) and Edgerrin James (11,117). Dunn has also registered 5,844 yards as an Atlanta Falcon, which ranks third in team annals behind Gerald Riggs (6,631) and William Andrews (5,986).
  • The Falcons pieced together their longest scoring drive of the season on their opening possession. The 19-play 63-yard drive - which culminated in Morten Andersen's 34-yard field goal - chewed up the first 8:01 of the first quarter and kept the potent Colts offense on the sidelines. The drive was also the longest in the NFL this season in terms of number of plays (19).
  • Linebacker Michael Boley's crucial third-down first-quarter sack of Peyton Manning was his first of the season and the fourth of his career. Boley followed up with his second sack of the season when he dropped Manning for a 10-yard loss with 1:30 remaining in the second quarter. Boley added another sack in the form of a forced fumble on the same defensive series. The three sacks for Boley was the first multi-sack game of his career.
  • Boley's three sacks in the first half of play marks the first time in Falcons franchise history that a player has registered three sacks in one half of play. It was also the first time a Falcons player notched three sacks in a game since defensive end Patrick Kerney accomplished the feat versus the Arizona Cardinals on Sept. 26, 2004.
  • Wide receiver Roddy White's 48-yard first-quarter touchdown catch from Quarterback Joey Harrington was the Falcons' second-longest of the season and White's second longest of the season. White caught a 69-yard touchdown in week three at home versus the Carolina Panthers.
  • White finished the game with six catches for 104 yards, his third 100-yard receiving performance this season and the fifth of his career. It also marked the ninth game this season White has led the team in receiving yards.
  • INJURY UPDATE: Colts starting running back Joseph Addai left the game midway through the first quarter with a neck injury. He was replaced in the game by running back Kenton Keith. Addai returned to the game with 8 minutes remaining in the second quarter after initially being ruled doubtful to return.
  • INJURY UPDATE: Falcons rookie wide receiver Laurent Robinson suffered a chin injury after a crushing hit by Colts' safety Antoine Bethea with four minutes remaining in the second quarter. He did not return to the game.
  • INJURY UPDATE: Boley suffered a shoulder injury with 5:30 remaining in the third quarter. He walked off the field under his own power but appeared unable to move his left shoulder. He was replaced in the game by linebacker Demorrio Williams. Boley returned to the game in the fourth quarter.
  • Cornerback DeAngelo Hall snagged his team-leading fourth interception of the season when he corralled a Peyton Manning pass deep in Falcons territory in the third quarter. Hall is now two picks shy of his season-high of six, which he tallied in 2005.
  • Tight end Alge Crumpler's streak of catching at least one pass in consecutive games played extended to 73. Crumpler finished with three catches for 14 yards.
  • linebacker Keith Brooking finished with one sack against the Colts, his second of the season and the 17th of his career.
  • Falcons kicker Morten Andersen split the uprights on both of his field goal attempts against the Colts, extending his season total to 18 of 21.
