The Atlanta Falcons welcome the following as the Baltimore Ravens visit the Georgia Dome:

National Anthem
Amy J.

"Amy J" Johnson moved from her hometown of Greenwood, S.C. when she was 18 to pursue her dreams of becoming an entertainer. Now 21, life as she knew it transformed into the life she dreamed of. She has worked with great people in the industry such as, Rico Wade (founder of "Organized Noize"), co- wrote a song for "Scar" (artist of "Purple Ribbon") and featured on a song with the " Ying Yang Twins" and on "Choppers" upcoming album from "Bad Boy Making The Band." She also appeared on 106 and Park singing backup for "Sammie" and has performed the national anthem for the Georgia Force of the Arena Football League. She writes and arranges all of her music.

Color Guard
Boy Scout Troop No. 206

The young men of Boy Scout Troop No. 206 are guided by the Scout Oath and Law. They have enjoyed a variety of fun activities and unique life experiences such as camp outs, the Grand Canyon adventure, back-packing on the Appalachian Trail, hiking the 21-mile Lincoln Trail in Springfield, Ill., white-water rafting, canoing, fishing, horseback riding, rifle shooting, archery and more.

This past June, a number of the more experienced Scouts elected (as a service project) to assist in the clean-up efforts at Dillard University in New Orleans, La. Over the past 14 years, the Troop has averaged 35 members from all over the  Metro Atlanta area.

Advancement is a vital part of the Troop’s program objectives. To date, Troop No. 206 has produced 14 Eagle Scouts with three additional Eagles expected to be awarded by the end of 2007.

The Troop is also blessed to have a strong core of adult leaders including four Eagle Scouts, two Whitney M. Young, Jr. and five Silver Beaver honorees.

The Troop enjoys its sponsor’s spiritual guidance and financial support (Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Roswell, the Laymen’s Ministry and the Reverend, Dr. Frank Lewis).  Troop No. 206 remains steadfast in its charge to develop young men today so they might demonstrate effective leadership with integrity and honor tomorrow.

Halftime
Youth Football Scrimmage

For the fourth consecutive year, the Atlanta Falcons and USA Football have partnered to encourage more young athletes to play football and celebrate the sport.  The “Play Football” initiative launched in August with USA Football rolling out a national campaign that is locally executed at each of the 32 NFL clubs.  The Atlanta Falcons will honor 4,000 youth football athletes and cheerleaders at the team’s final preseason game Friday, Aug. 31.  During halftime in the game against the Ravens, the Falcons will feature a scrimmage game between the Ola Christian and Marietta Eagles youth football associations.

Marietta Blue Eagles

In 2000, the Marietta Youth Football Association, Inc. founded the Marietta Blue Eagles. The Board of Directors was chosen and an application for membership into the North Georgia Youth Football league was applied for.

The rest is history.

After its initial start up, the league achieved success almost immediately. Nine teams compete. Two went undefeated. More than 300 children participated in this program.

The coaching staff includes association president Garland Baker Sr., Tony Wade, Willie Winfrey, Garland Baker Jr. and Shannon Stewart. The team consists of kids from Douglasville to Hiram and all parts of Cobb County and the city of Marietta.

Ola Christian Youth Football

Ola Christian Youth Football’s purpose is to encourage, inspire and strengthen the 8-year-old Ola Mustang boys through the training of their minds and bodies while, at the same time, providing wholesome recreation through athletic competition. They coach to "Build Better Boys" spiritually, physically and academically through creating a winning tradition in hard nosed football.

Coming off of a Super Bowl win in the North Henry Youth Football League in 2006 as the Ohio State Buckeyes, the team elevated its desire for competition by joining the Ola Christian Youth Football League in 2007.

The offense is anchored by the hard-nose play of quarterback Kenny Duncan and the "sweet feet" running attack of Jarius Hart and Jalen Hines. On defense, the team is led by the "fast and nasty" style of defensive tackle JaKobi Erewa, linebackers Wyatt Walden and Tre' Sherman. The Mustangs are poised to have another stellar season.
