The Falcons, added a shutdown cornerback to the secondary with the selection of Arkansas CB Chris Houston at #41 overall.
Atlanta moved to #41 in a deal with Minnesota that saw the clubs flip second round picks while Minnesota also received one of the Falcons' three selections in the fourth round (#121 overall).
Houston (5-9, 185 pounds) was an honorable mention All-America and second team All-SEC honoree in 2006 for the Razorbacks as he posted a career-high 45 tackles (38 solo) with two forced fumbles.
In 2005, he had 20 tackles (15 solo), eight pass defenses and a forced fumble.
