The Falcons added a tight end with their second selection in the fourth round as Atlanta selected Georgia product Martrez Milner with the 133rd overall selection.
Milner (6-3, 252) led the Bulldogs with 30 receptions for 425 yards and three touchdowns in 2006 as a preseason all-SEC choice by The Sporting News. A total of 22 of his 30 catches produced first downs and he converted 6-of-10 third down opportunities with receptions.
In 2005, Milner was the Bulldogs' Most Improved Offensive Player Award winner as he caught 14 passes for 291 yards and a team-high 20.8 yards per catch average with two TDs.
