The Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation is pleased to announce the following Fall 2007 grants:

 
Other Sports and Fitness Activities 
Swimming 
Albany Area YMCA  -- $16,800 for swimming program (Outside Metro Atlanta).
 
Multi-Sport 
Boys & Girls Club of Bulloch County -- $17,000 to purchase SPARK curriculum and equipment (Outside Metro Atlanta).
Chance for a Higher Level Outreach -- $5,000 for fitness equipment and fitness instruction.
 
Tennis 
Georgia Tennis Foundation -- $10,000 for Tennis Georgia program in Metro Atlanta, Rome and Columbus.
 
Dance and Movement 
JDCI Dance and Learning Stars -- $15,000 for student registration fees, instruction and attire.
Several Dancers Core -- $10,000 for Dynamic X-Change Healing Arts Program.
 
Basketball 
A Friend’s House -- $21,800 for basketball court.
 
Adaptive Sports 
North Metro Miracle League -- $10,000 for after-school and summer fitness programs.
 
Golf 
East Lake Foundation -- $25,000 to provide access to the golf course, practice area and tournaments for participating youth.
 
Fitness Training 
Decatur Education Foundation -- $7,000 for coaching session fees for participating students who qualify for free or reduced lunch (at least 19 of 50 students served).

Healthy Lifestyles 
Community Gardening 
Community and Housing Initiatives Corp. -- $20,000 to launch Project Open Market, a community gardening program.
 
Nutrition 
North Georgia Angel House, Inc. -- $5,000 for nutrition software and supplies.
